A PIONEER DIES
	
Louella Cunningham McCormick, 84, native of Allen-co, died at her home in 
Columbus.

She was the widow of the late Newton W. McCormick.  He preceded his wife in 
death by more than 20 years.  Soon after the death of her husband, Mrs. 
McCormick established her residence in Columbus, where three of her children 
live.

She was a member of the pioneer Cunningham family who lived on Blueberry Hill, 
near the present Circular-st in south Lima.

Newton W. Cunningham, a banker at Bluffton, and Dewitt C. Cunningham, a former 
Allen-co representative, who now resides in Missouri, are brothers of the dead 
woman.  She also leaves three daughters, Mrs. Thomas W. Greenland, S. Jameson-
av, Lima; Mrs. Thomas Patterson of Ripley, O.; and Mrs. Bruce Oyler, Mrs. E.C. 
Schultz and Mrs. Martha Adams, of Columbus; a son George McCormick of Sugar 
Grove and 14 grandchildren.

Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
