              Taken from Allen County Democrat
                                Jan 1870
In Lima, Margaret E.,wife of Rev A R KREBS, in the 59th year of her age.
She had suffered for several years with dropsieal affection of the
heart, and for more than five months had been confined to her room and in
a great measure, helpless.
She was born in Green Village,Franklin Co,Penn. She expereniced religion
and united with the M E Church at the age of 12,of which she remained a
faithful and esteemed member till death.
She was united in marriage to Rev A.R.Krebs April 27,1830,with whom she
lived happily for almost 40 years. She was a most estimable wife,
affectionate mother, kind neighbor and consistant christian.
During her long sickness, she maintained a wonderful patience, and had a
constant reallzation of the presence of her Saviour, causing her at
times to shout aloud for joy.
She had a great desire to hear from her sister that she had not seen for
more than 20 years. She felt that she could not die before
hearing from her.
How remarkable the coiseidence!
Just three hours before she died her husband took from the post-office
and read to his dying companion the long desired letter, containing also
her sister's photograph. She heard the letter read, looked at and kissed
the picture and said "I am now satisifed", and was in the spirit world
in less than three hours thereafter.
